This past week has consisted of getting illustration prints made for a client, weeding and checking up on my surprise flower garden, buying too much fabric and sewing, going out on a sushi date with my boyfriend, and fighting a sinus infection. Other than the sinus infection, these are all really great things and I'm happy to say that it's been a good week.
My cousin helped me get my prints made, and I made her a thank you card with this little chipmunk on it. Maybe my surprise flower garden will grow up to look like that. I somehow doubt I'll find any chipmunks in my flowers, though.
While buying too much fabric, I found this adorable whale print at Joann Fabrics a couple days ago. Yesterday I spent the day sewing up another purse that's big enough to hold my sketchbook and pencil case with room for whatever else I need to tote around. I made my own pattern for it, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. If you'd like me to make one for you, check out my Etsy shop!
My desk friends say hello. Here we have Mister Oryx, Little Vicuna, Terrarium Panda, White Rabbit, Alice, Tiny Dog, and Little Fox. You can almost see Wooly Willy's eyes peeking up, but he didn't quite make it into the shot. Maybe next time, Wooly Willy.
